A Regency romance with an unexpected twist, “Married to a Rogue (Classic Regency Romances Book 9)” follows Lady Emily Sedgely and her estranged husband, Lord Baxter Sedgely.
Already legally separated albeit no divorce papers filed, it still hurt Emily to see her husband with his young and attractive paramour with her lithesome figure. Already in her late 30s, Emily had gained weight since her husband left her while Baxter remained to cut a handsome slim figure.
An older peer with a mistress was an accepted norm in Regent society, but an older lady with a young lover (we call them cougars in our time) was frowned upon. And that is how the London society looked at the Sedgely’s – an estranged couple with young lovers.
So, why were Lord and Lady Sedgely seem to be carrying a torch for each other? And, what was Lord Sedgely’s real appointment with the Crown?
Rated T for Teens due to mild sexual content (something very similar to what you find in YA books) and some violence.
