On a photography assignment in South Africa, New Yorker Erin Mitchell almost drowned but was saved by Nicholas De Lanoy, handsome owner of luxury safari lodge Leopard Rock.
Forced to stay at the lodge because all roads were impassable due to the storm, Erin finds herself attracted to her rescuer. And the feeling is mutual. There is only one problem, Erin is married; her husband Vince is waiting on the other side of the river.
