PARIS, Nov 16, 2012/ — Always innovating and reworking old concepts into new, Kris Van Assche decided to mix city and sports, with a twist that recalls the very first KVA collections.
For Spring/Summer 2013 (or Numero 16 as it is called internally at KrisVanAssche), there is a constant “to-ing” and “fro-ing” between the urban and the sports worlds, blurring the line between formal and casual. The exercise is subtle, the result is perfectly accomplished.
This hybridisation is seen clearly in shoes, especially the derbies with a Velcro system attached.
