LONDON, Dec 14, 2012/ — Earlier today, Star Trek writer Alex Kurtzman, together with actors Alice Eve and Benedict Cumberbatch hosted a footage screening of Star Trek Into Darkness at the BFI IMAX.
There was a very lively Q&A prior to the footage screening wherein Alice Eve, Benedict Cumberbatch and Alex Kurtzman revealed what they could without giving away spoilers.
For Star Trek fans out there, Alice Eve plays the role of Dr. Carol Marcus while Benedict Cumberbatch plays John Harrison, a new villain in the Star Trek lore.
Since we won’t know how “evil” John Harrison is going to be, let us just say that Star Trek in general has very memorable bad guys from Khan to the Borg, even mankind itself when it allowed the humpback whales to become instinct.
Star Trek Into Darkness is expected to hit theaters on May 17, 2013.
