DALLAS, Apr 26, 2012/ — During a cold winter day last January, we decided to have a picnic at Dallas’ White Rock Lake. Yes, it was strange having a picnic during winter. But winter was so mild this year that it would have been a shame to stay indoors when the sun was shining.
Another reason, White Rock Lake is usually very full during summer. Winter is more enjoyable because there are less people.
These photos are from a very small part of White Rock Lake which has over 9 miles of waterfront trails. The complete loop around the lake takes about three hours.
