NEW YORK, Feb 17, 2015/ — For the fall 2015 season, KEMPNER Creative Director Meggie Kempner was inspired by salon style gatherings of the 1970’s. The dazzling host in this salon scenario is the KEMPNER girl. Fall 2015 amps up the glamour, exuding confidence and sass.
Design influence is taken, not only from the stimulating personality of a salon host, but also from the opulent interiors of traditional salons. Rich, coppery metallics, deep reds and blues, and lux fur collars are accented by tassels, chain belts, and gilded rope.
Peekaboo dresses and matching crop top and pencil skirt sets show off a modern sensibility, while a patterned pajama set and a glitzy jumpsuit ooze seventies-style flair.
