NEW YORK, Sep 30, 2012/ — Last September 7, designer Billy Reid unveiled his men’s and women’s Spring 2013 collection at Eyebeam during New York Fashion Week.
“Our Influence this season was to take Spring/ Summer fabrications and present them in a tailored manner,” said Reid.
This translated to double breasted linen suits, lightweight shirting, and relaxed pants. The quality of the tailoring and ease of the fabrics created looks that were “in one word: chic”.
For women a book by Charles Brittin, “West and South”, inspired Reid to blend his Southern heritage with an elevated sense of sophistication.
