A story about love and friendship that revolved around a golf game, Blocking Paris gives readers a bird’s eye view of life in Hawaii while also giving tidbits about the 50th state’s history and sociology.
Part satire, part slapstick comedy, author Bill Thesken created well-rounded characters that are hilarious while trying to be serious.
And though chances are not one of the characters will make it to Comedy Central, all 8 of them are primed for their own story arcs if the author deems it so.
A hilarious read from beginning to end. Blocking Paris is Rated PG 13 due to some adult situations. There are no sex scenes in this book.
