Book Review: Inspire Me (A Hot Rod Novel) by Jenna Dales

It’s so hot, it sizzles!

inspire meEarly warning – the sex scenes are so steamy, it crackles! Jenna Dales has the right elements for a sexy novel – hot cars, hot men, hot women. And yes, you got it right, it is plural. That the protagonists are beautiful and covetable is normal. Having the supporting characters also hot and desirable just add fuel to the fire.

It’s about a boy, actually bad boy Raine Reyes who knows his way with cars from the Ford Coupe to the Mercury Cougar. He refurbishes and retrofits classic cars to be the hot rods they were when they first came out of the assembly line. He wants to be good, and leave his bad boy days behind, but he has two mortgages and does not have enough clients to keep his shop going.

It’s about a girl, actually a woman named Lily. She’s on top of her game as an ad executive. But she’s losing her edge and she has nowhere to go.

It’s about Arabella, the celebutante and tabloid queen; it’s about Fitz, a distinguished gentleman who looks like he just walked out of a GQ cover.

They all meet in “Inspire Me ” and what happened is a sexy and thrilling ride that rivals Fast and Furious in terms of speed and hot rod.

The characters were like putty in Jenna Dales’ fingers. She built them up to be 3-D that you can actually feel Raine’s pain, Lily’s uncertainty, Arabella’s brash acts, even Fitz’s sincerity. Dales keep you guessing until the end. You don’t know who gets the happily ever after!

No peeking at the end! You will miss the surprise which was beautiful.
