It’s the romance version of “The Perfect Storm” with the dangerous waters of the Bering Sea providing the backdrop of the budding romance between crab fishing captain Nathan Lowery and ship cook Brooke Hague.
Hard to put down once you get started, “Northern Lights” is simultaneously a suspense/thriller and a love story. You will love Nathan and Brooke, two sensitive souls whose inner strength are as great as the love they have for each other.
As an added bonus, the author Michelle Cary also described how crab fishing is done and how perilous it can be. After reading the book, you will appreciate the Alaskan King Crab even more.
