Book Review: Rescue at Cardwell Ranch & Wanted Woman

Rating:

rescue at cardwell ranchTwo books in one, Rescue at Cardwell Ranch & Wanted Woman are both about strong women and the men who love them who are willing to risk it all.

“Rescue at Cardwell Ranch” is the highly anticipated continuation of the Cardwell Ranch saga and this time, the Cardwell cousins from Texas make their appearance beginning with Hayes Cardwell, a P.I. from
Houston.

Hayes rescued McKenzie Sheldon from a brutal attack on his first day in Montana. But, it was not enough. Her attacker keeps on coming back, becoming deadlier each time.

“Wanted Woman” follows Maggie Randolph and Jesse Tanner who found themselves in the middle of multiple homicides yet they still found time to fall in love.

Though both books are written around the theme of “damsels in distress”, the women are not wilting violets. Both heroines capably defended themselves against their attackers. Their “knights in shining armors” are alpha males; their strength is matched by their intelligence.

Well-paired heroes and heroines in a well-paired double book. B.J. Daniels once again gave her readers unforgettable characters who are also lovable.

This book is Rated M for Mature due to violence and sexual content.
