Book Review: Suddenly Mine by Samantha Chase

suddenly mineI believe I have said it before, but I will say it again, just in case. Samantha Chase goes from strength to strength with each new book release. And “Suddenly Mine” is a great example.

For those who follow the Montgomery Brothers series, Suddenly Mine” is Book 9. And if you think that Samantha Chase has given her readers a gamut of heroes and heroines, you are probably right. But Christian Montgomery and Sophia Bennington stand out because we saw the weakness in their characters first before we saw how strong they are.

That Samantha Chase was able to bring both from zero to heroes is a feat on its own. Then inserting a dark side of the Montgomery clan into the storyline was a total surprise, making “Suddenly Mine” not just a love story but part of a family saga.

A great book to read during these winter months and the polar vortex hanging over us because Christian, Sophia and the whole Montgomery clan will warm your heart. Rated T for Teens.

Love is a sanctuary

Christian Montgomery is burnt out—the family business might be his entire world, but his father’s judgment means Christian never stops working. His only respite is gazing at the beach and the carefree surfers riding the waves…especially the curvy redhead who’s caught his attention.

Sophia Bennington has just fled from her small Kansas town to California, where she’s trying her best to embrace her new beginning. Soon Christian and Sophia find one another, and it feels like sanctuary. But when their difficult pasts catch up to them, will they run away from each other?
