A yaoi romance, “Takeover” began in Curaçao with a one-night stand between Michael Sebastian and Sam Anderson.
And though it was the most earth-shattering encounter both men had ever had, they both agreed that what happened in Curaçao will stay and end in Curaçao. Right???!!!
Of course, the Fates have a twisted sense of humor. When Sam Anderson walks into his new job as CEO of Four Rivers, a failing technology company, he finds out that to save Four Rivers, he has to rely on Michael as the lead software developer!
With Sam still in the closet and Michael still recovering from a failed relationship, it would have been easy to keep their hands off each other. But, the chemistry between them is so volatile; it does not take much for things to heat up!
In an era when DOMA has been deemed unconstitutional, the situation between Sam and Michael should have been a walk in the park to solve. But, there are surprising complications which would have not existed if DOMA still exist.
Very contemporary and taking into consideration on how the public in general perceive gay couples, and the changing landscape in the workplace, “Takeover” is an interesting to say the least. Include a ponzi scheme and corporate raiders, the excitement doubles because of the steamy sex scenes.
“Takeover” is rated M for Mature due to sexual content.
