Short and Sweet
4 Stars
Trace Walker and Claire Carson are two of the sweetest characters I’ve met. There is just something so wholesome about the two of them. The young Trace Walker can be the romance novels’ equivalent of Justin Beiber.
I would also like to iterate how much I enjoyed the story. It’s short, sweet and to the point. Great editing too! So, why did I give it only 4 stars?
***SPOILER ALERT ***
It’s because Trace’s epiphany fell short in terms of drama. The story is about Trace, with Claire as his love interest and the catalyst for the cataclysmic change on Trace. When it happened, it tidied up a lot of things on the plot and also caught all the loose ends. And thus making it a nice read. But the emotional release I was expecting was not there. 3/4 of the book is a great read. The denouement is a nice read, hence the 4 star rating.
