The third book in the Regimental Heroes series, “The Wounded Nobleman” follows Ellis Garrison, the son of an Earl and Callie, the woman he loved even before he left for the Crimean War. Ellis was still haunted by his memories of the war, which together with his bad leg stopped him from pursuing Callie again. Little did Ellis know that Callie was dealing with her own nightmares.
A story of love finding a way to heal two lovers, “The Wounded Nobleman” tugs at your heartstrings as Ellis and Callie struggled with their demons. And though it is a short story, the author was able to convey how much the protagonists suffer and how they were able to overcome their shortcomings.
An uplifting story! And the great thing about it, you get it in about 39 pages.
