One of the Best Time Travel Stories I’ve Read
Well written, well edited, with all the characters nicely developed to be three-dimensional, Out of Time should is in a class of its own as a romance novel.
In fact, I suggest that it be reclassified as sci-fi/fantasy. The romance between the hero and heroine might be the thread that binds the whole story, but author Deborah Truscott gave many sci-fi/fantasy authors a run for their money as she confidently interpreted The Theory of Relativity and time travel so that non-scientific readers (like me for example), can grasp the concept.
And I love the way Ms. Truscott discussed techonology (“Why is it named Google?” asked Robert. “I have no idea,” Kathy Lee answered.”) Ms. Truscott even explained how Robert, who hails from the 18th century did not get sick with his daily exposure to the germs and viruses of the 21st century.
A great book and a great read. Must read for romance novels! And if you’re a sci-fi/fantasy fan, try this book. You will learn to love romances!
