I love Search & Rescue stories because there is so much humanity in it. From those in distress in need of rescuing, to the brave men and women who are part of the Search & Rescue team and to those waiting for their loved ones to be returned to them, the spectrum of emotions can bring you to the extremes.

The heat between Derek and Artemis which can undo both of them is inside them. Any rejection will be devastating. But, the danger outside is real. Freezing temperature and the usual hazards in the wilderness can kill both of them. Time is running out, not just for Derek and Artemis but also for the two little girls they are searching!
Fast-paced with the corresponding adrenaline rush, “On His Watch” will keep you at the edge of your seat, albeit this is more of a novella than a full-pledged one. But, this book will not disappoint. It’s non-stop action from beginning to end.
This book could have passed for Rated T for Teens but a few steamy scenes between Derek and Artemis just raised “On His Watch
