Book Review: Wolf Trouble by Paige Tyler

wolf troubleOur favorite SWAT team is back in “Wolf Trouble” the second book in the Special Wolf Alpha Team series by Paige Tyler.

Oh, were you thinking that SWAT means the official “Special Weapons and Tactics”? The Dallas PD SWAT team is that too; except that they happen to be werewolves in police clothing.

And this time, this SWAT team has to bring themselves to the 21st century by allowing a woman to be part of the team. After all, women can do what men can and if the woman is a werewolf, she is more than a match to her male counterparts.

That’s the position where Seattle beat cop Khaki Blake found herself in when she moved to Dallas. She is ready to match her skills with everyone except with her squad leader Senior Corporal Xander Riggs whose smell make her think of other things than weapons and tactics.

Unknown to Khaki, Xander also finds Khaki’s smell so appealing he cannot think straight. So, how can he do his job with Khaki around? Should he give in to his wolfish thoughts or just walk away? The question is can a wolf walk away from The One?

High energy, high speed chases and high romance, Wolf Trouble by Paige Tyler is a must summer read for paranormal junkies.

Wolf Trouble (SWAT) is Rated M for Mature due to violence and sexual content.

DescriptionHe’s in trouble with a capital T

There’s never been a female on the Dallas SWAT team and Senior Corporal Xander Riggs prefers it that way. The elite pack of alpha male wolfshifters is no place for a woman. But Khaki Blake is no ordinary woman.

When Khaki walks through the door attractive as hell and smelling like heaven, Xander doesn’t know what the heck to do. Worse, she’s put under his command and Xander’s protective instincts go on high alert. When things start heating up both on and off the clock, it’s almost impossible to keep their heads in the game and their hands off each other…
