The Prodigal Son

With the prodigal son as the predominant theme, “Wyatt: Return of the Cowboy” follows Wyatt Malone and Paige St. Johm, two childhood friends who never told each other how they really felt for the other.
Set in Montana during winter, the author’s description of the weather brings chill to the bones. It logically follows that Cathy McDavid fleshed out the main characters and the supporting cast very nicely and thus effectively introducing characters that we will probably meet in “Harts of the Rodeo”.
Tightly written, very short (only 1551 Kindle locations) and very sweet, “Wyatt: Return of the Cowboy” is a good read. Romantic without being cheesy, it is also a book about familial love.
