Book Review: You Had Me at Cowboy by Jennie Marts

The second book in the Cowboys of Creedence series by Jennie Marts, “You Had Me at Cowboy ” follows Mason James, brother of NHL star Rockford James (Caught Up in a Cowboy). While Rock is confidence personified, Mason suffers from insecurity thanks to girls and women who since high school had used him to get closer to Rock.

Enter Tessa Kane who seems to be the epitome of perfection. She’s not from their hometown and has to history with Rock. And Tessa genuinely likes him. The clincher, his whole family likes Tessa. She seems too good to be true. The sad part, Mason might be right about that!

But, Tessa refuses to give him up. In fact, she refuses to give “them” up. Will what Mason and Tessa have enough to hurdle every obstacle on their path so that they can reach their happily ever after?
