On January 19, 2019, cosplayers in Japan gathered at Nasu Mt. Jeans for the Cosplay Festival. Located just three hours from the Tokyo metropolitan area, the Nasu Mt. Jeans ski resort is the perfect place for a winter fete.

Wearing the costumes of their favorite characters, 32 cosplayers skied and snowboarded the slopes, making après ski very colorful. It goes without saying that a photo session was held! Additionally, an award ceremony was held to select the No. 1 cosplay.

A first for the ski resort, Tokyu Land and Tokyu Resort Service which own and manage Nasu Mt. Jeans announced at the end of the festival that they plan to make this a yearly event.

Nasu Mt. Jeans is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. until Sunday, March 24, 2019. It is approximately a 20-minute drive from Nasu Kogen IC.From Nasu Shiobara Station on the Tohoku Shinkansen Line, approx. 60 minutes by shuttle bus.
