On September 7th, Danielle Jonas co-hosted an exclusive charity event supporting the Vera Bradley and Blessings in a Backpack back-to-school tour at Greater Brunswick Charter School in New Brunswick, NJ.
Together with the support of her husband Kevin Jonas, the couple joined the partnering brands in continuing the coast-to-coast philanthropy pledge in donating 25,000 backpacks filled with food to under privileged children and their families across America.
The facility’s private school yard was quickly transformed for students who were all treated to a memorable afternoon filled with games and take-home prizes including a pirate bounce, ring toss, skee ball, whack-a-mole, life size connect-four, inflatable obstacle course, double shot basketball, two-minute drill football and much more. Everyone enjoyed popcorn in between playing the numerous carnival activities.
Vera Bradley and Blessings in a Backpack’s philanthropic partnership will continue to mobilize communities, individuals, and resources to provide new backpacks and food for children who might otherwise go hungry.
