For Fall 2015, Fatema Fardan proposes contemporary silhouettes that feature obscure symbols and ritual traditions to provide darker undertones and inspire decorative finishes, ornaments and details
Fatema Fardan was born in the UAE in 1987 and educated in London at the American Intercontinental University where she graduated with first-degree Honors in Fashion Design and Marketing.
As a young designer, her innovative and distinctive style earned her the Most Outstanding Student Award in London, and the Fashion Show Competition at the AIU in London for women’s wear design in 2011.
Fatema’s career includes designing with formidable fashion houses such as Tata Naka, Bora Aksu (UK), and interning with Louis Vuitton in the Middle East.
Fatema’s odyssey has propelled her to explore Textile Design and Fashion Marketing at the London College of Fashion and Central St. Martin’s where she has developed an international vision for design.
