Flea Style Pops Up in Dallas’ Fair Park on 12 March 2016

fairpark flea market 01Premier Shopping Event Brings 250 Vendors to Fair Park

On March 12th, Flea Style (formerly The Dallas Flea) unfolds its biggest event yet: A one-day curated marketplace featuring 250 vendors at Fair Park’s 85,000-square foot Automobile Building.

With twice as many vendors from previous shows (and more vintage clothing and décor than ever!), attendees will shop a sweeping selection of handmade, vintage and one-of-a-kind wares including clothing, jewelry, furniture, art, paper goods and kids gear. The talented artisans hail from Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin and other Texas cities as well as states as far away as Colorado and Oregon.

More than half of this year’s vendors are new to the show such as Farmgirl Furniture, Olive + Pine and The Distillery Market. In addition to lovingly-made and collected loot, Flea Style will feature top food trucks, adult beverages and live beats by DJ Austin Maddox.

fairpark flea market 02Flea Style was founded in 2009 by former lifestyle editor Brittany Cobb, who utilized her keen eye to gather talented Texas creatives for a one-time holiday bazaar. Six years later, the Southwest’s preeminent pop-up has more than doubled in size offering one-of-a-kind fashion, furniture, art, home décor, jewelry, children’s items, pet accessories and more.

“We’re overwhelmed by the support for our small business and thrilled to continue to promote the amazing makers in our backyard and beyond,” says Cobb, who launches Flea Style’s first Houston event on May 7th. “We’re so excited for our new home at Fair Park to showcase more artisans than ever!”

Flea Style takes place Saturday, March 12th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Fair Park’s Automobile Building, which is located at 1010 First Ave. The first 100 shoppers receive a free canvas goodie bag. To bypass the entrance line, tickets may be purchased in advance at http://bit.ly/1Ol51d6. Entry is $5; kids 12 and under get in free.
