DALLAS, Aug 9, 2012/ — Following traditional, Kellog’s announced that the Fierce Five who won Team Gold at the 2012 Olympic Games in London will be featured on special-edition boxes of Kellogg’s® Corn Flakes® which will be on shelves this fall.
The box will feature team members, Gabby Douglas, McKayla Maroney, Aly Raisman, Kyla Ross and Jordyn Wieber. Kellogg Company is an official sponsor of the United States Olympic Committee and USA Gymnastics.
“The women’s team made history last week becoming the first team to capture gold since the 1996 Olympic Games,” said USA Gymnastics President, Steve Penny. “We’re thrilled that the success of the team can be celebrated with consumers everywhere with the special-edition box of Kellogg® Corn Flakes. Fans will also be able to see the women’s team and other gymnastic stars in action this fall as part of the Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics.”
The 2012 Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics Champions, a 40-city national tour featuring Team USA’s top performing gymnasts which will kick off in San Jose, California on September 8, 2012.
