NEW YORK, May 3, 2012/ — Once a year, during the annual White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, the press corps inside the Washington beltway ARE the news. Instead of writing about the news, other reporters write about them.
What makes this very special? Other than this year is the 98th annual gala dinner, some of the world’s most recognizable faces in the entertainment and fashion industries join the political correspondents for a big do.
Among this year’s attendees from the entertainment industry are actors Kerry Washington and Josh Hutcherson.
Ms. Washington wore a nectarine crepe long sleeve dress from the Fall 2012 Calvin Klein Collection, designed by Francisco Costa, the brands’ Women’s Creative Director.
Mr. Hutcherson wore a black wool two-button peak lapel tuxedo, white dress shirt and black bow tie from the Spring 2012 Calvin Klein Collection, designed by Italo Zucchelli, the brands’ Men’s Creative Director.
