Wearing a custom Calvin Klein Collection smoke/iris spray painted ombré pleated silk chiffon dress designed by Francisco Costa, actress Katie Holmes rocked the 2013 Costume Institute Benefit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City held on May 6, 2013.
The museum’s annual Costume Institute Gala Benefit celebrated the opening of the year’s exhibition, and is the main source of funding for the museum. This year’s exhibit, PUNK: Chaos to Couture (May 9 – August 14, 2013), examines punk’s impact on high fashion from the movement’s birth in the 1970’s through its continuing influence today.
