DALLAS, Jun 7, 2012/ — Last week, Lady Gaga just entered the social networking history books by being the first to reach 25 million followers, beating out her competition by a wide margin.
Justin Bieber has only 22.5 million, followed by Katy Perry with just over 20 million, and Rihanna with just under 20 million.
It just goes to show that the old Hollywood adage, “Publicity, whether good or bad is still publicity”. Lady Gaga has been a controversial figure in recent months because Muslim majority countries are offended at the content of her shows. Some of them call the Lady Gaga’s shows as “immoral” and “pornographic”.
But that has not deterred the singer from performing for her fans.
Seen on May 8, 2012, upon her arrival to Narita International Airport, Lady Gaga chose to wear Versace.
The music sensation, who is in town on her latest stop on the Born this Way Ball (during which both she and her dancers wear a number of custom-made Versace looks), deplaned looking chic in a look from Versace’s Fall 2012 runway. She wore a stunning black Versace leather trench covered entirely in Swarovski crystals.
Meanwhile, in her South Korea performance for the Born This Way Ball 2012 on April 27th in Seoul, Lady Gaga and all twelve of her dancers chose to wear a large selection of custom made Versace creations.
