Montblanc Hosts Global Gift Foundation Gala Dinner in Cannes

CANNES, May 22, 2014/ — On Friday, 16 May 2014, Montblanc underwrote the Global Gift Foundation gala dinner. Notable attendees include French Actress and member of the jury Carole Bouquet and American actress Eva Longoria.

Also spotted on the red carpet are: Barbara Cabrita, Brady Corbet, Massimo Gargia, Natasha Andrews, Pierre Niney, Rossy de Palma, Tina Arena.

Traditionally present during the Cannes Film Festival, Montblanc has once again taken up residence at the iconic Martinez Hotel, offering private appointments for celebrity stylists, VIPs and celebrities. From May 14th – 25th 2014, an extensive selection of pieces from Montblanc’s high jewellery collections, timepieces and cufflinks will be on show at the Montblanc Styling Lounge.

A new collection of timepieces, the Meisterstück Heritage Collection, recently unveiled at SIHH in Geneva, is presented at the Montblanc Styling Lounge along with the Nicolas Rieussec, TimeWalker and Star collections.

The Montblanc Meisterstück Heritage Collection is inspired by the ninety-year heritage of the Meisterstück. With classical design, discriminating complications and sumptuous decorations, these elegant timepieces manifest the values of the iconic Montblanc Meisterstück Fountain Pen and the traditional features of fine Swiss watchmaking in every detail – thus making them their owners’ lifelong companions.

The exquisite and emotive theme linking all the pieces in the collections is the rose. Each one-of-a-kind high jewellery set consists of a centrepiece necklace, spectacular slender shoulder-grazing drop earrings, fringed with drop shaped gems, and an intricate matching bracelet in white gold settings with diamonds and rose sapphires.
