NYT Bestselling Author Marie Force Releases “All You Need Is Love” First Book in Green Mountain Series

MARIE FORCE ALL YOU NEED IS LOVEFive-time New York Times bestselling author Marie Force today released All You Need is Love , the first of the Green Mountain series of books set in Vermont.

The series is about the Abbott family, with ten siblings, that runs the Green Mountain Country Store. This is Force’s first major mass market paperback release, published by Berkley Sensation, a division of Random House-Penguin. Berkley has bought the first five books of this series.

Book 2, I Want to Hold Your Hand, will be out on June 3, 2014, and Book 3, I Saw Her Standing There, will be out on Nov. 4, 2014.

Force hopes to write at least ten books in the series, one for each of the siblings. All You Need is Love can be purchased everywhere books are sold, including Target, Barnes & Noble, WalMart, Books-A-Million, and in airports.

The idea of setting the series’ story in Vermont came to Force a couple years ago as she was watching her daily fix of Brian Williams on NBC Nightly News. She saw Anne Thompson’s feature about the Vermont Country Store and the Orton family that runs it and was immediately intrigued by the notion of a family running an old-fashioned country store. And the series was born.

Other series Force has written include The McCarthys of Gansett Island, at 10.5 books, including a recent surprise-release novella; Treading Water, currently at four books; and The Fatal Series, currently at seven books. The Fatal Series is available electronically and Fatal Affair, Book 1 in the series, is coming to print in paperback in March, with four more Fatal books in print to follow in 2014.

With more than 2 million books sold, Force is one of the top contemporary romance authors. She plans at least two more books in her New York Times bestselling McCarthys of Gansett Island Series in 2014 and is looking forward to the March 24 launch of Fatal Jeopardy, Book 7 in the popular Fatal Series.

“I didn’t intend to write three series at the same time,” Force said, “but that’s how it worked out!”
