For the Fall 2015 collection, Pamella Roland was inspired by Paris in the 1970s, as portrayed in Alicia Drake’s “The Beautiful Fall.”
During a recent visit to Paris, Pamella recalled the energy of the glamorous world of designers, models, photographers and their creative conspirators that have become enduring style icons.
The collection of elegant dresses and separates is constructed of rich fabrics including jacquard cloque tweed, floral jacquard cloqué and striped crepe.
This season, prints are bold with oversized and abstract floral and paisley prints on organza and silk ottoman in deep shades of midnight navy, plum, burgundy, cobalt, olive and camel.
Details including hand-cut velvet sequins, re-embroidered prints, velvet flocking and hand-cut feathers add texture, visual depth, and capture the seductive Parisian glamour of the 1970s.
