On Thursday, September 4, at The Salon at The Tents at Lincoln Center, Richard Chai debuted his Spring/Summer 2015 collection via a runway show.
This season designer Richard Chai expresses a sense of controlled ease in his LOVE and Men’s collections. Richard Chai LOVE incorporates soft folds, considered volume and patchwork sequins while Men’s offers a sense of louche sophistication. The palette incorporates punctuations of saturated color in the form of kelly green, acid yellow and electric blue as well as more elegant muted tones of violet, lavender, blush, burgundy and ink.
In celebration of Richard Chai’s 10 year anniversary showing at New York Fashion Week, an after party was held at New York City hotspot Up & Down. Celebrity attendees included Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas, Kevin Jonas, Darren Criss, Gabe Saporta, Erin Fetherston, and Miles McMillan. Joe Jonas also served as the DJ for the event, playing an hour long set. Drinks were provided by Belvedere and Peroni.
