DALLAS, Jun 23, 2012/ — As summer temperatures to soar, underwear giant Jockey International and Jockey spokesperson Tim Tebow, quarterback of the New York Jets, are on a mission to help hot American cities stay cool.
The “Hot City Cool Down” campaign kicked off yesterday at Orlando Florida where Tim Tebow and Jockey brought some much needed relief from the summer heat to the city by transforming an outdoor pavilion at Orlando Premium Outlets – Vineland Avenue into this season’s coolest fashion show.
Male and female underwear-clad models walked the runway, highlighting Jockey® staycool styles and strutting Jockey’s latest offerings. Tebow co-emceed the “Hot City Cool Down” event in front of 300 guests.
After the show, fans were treated to a massive staycool product giveaway from Jockey and free ice cream treats as part of the cool down experience.
Jockey® staycool (http://www.jockeystaycool.com) incorporates an Outlast® technology treatment that uses phase change materials (PCMs) that absorb, store and release excess heat to maintain optimal external body temperature.
The treatment is printed onto the fabric, creating an invisible microclimate of comfort between the garment and your skin by regulating temperature.
The Jockey® staycool line is available in multiple colors with a suggested retail price of $21 for women’s tops, 2/$27 for men’s, and 3/$24-$29.50 for underwear.
