May is National Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month and on May 6, 2015, The National Day to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, The Candie’s Foundation teamed up with actress and The Candie’s Foundation Ambassador Bella Thorne, social media influencers Kenny Holland and Wesley Stromberg to host a special assembly at a Palisades Charter High School in California to educate teens and raise awareness on teen pregnancy. Combined Bella, Kenny & Wesley have a social media reach of over 22 million!
Bella spoke to the students about the importance of this issue by sharing the facts about teen pregnancy in the US. Kenny and Wesley encouraged the students to use social media as a tool to spread positive messages and educate themselves and promoted the #NoTeenPreg
The Candie’s Foundation is a national non-profit organization that works to educate the way youth in America think about teen pregnancy and parenthood. The Foundation develops compelling campaigns to raise awareness and educate teens on the prevention of teen pregnancy.
