Tightrope walker, Nik Wallenda, crossed the Grand Canyon wearing jeans by Buffalo David Bitton on Sunday June 23rd, 2013.
“I was wearing Buffalo Jeans which is my favorite brand of jeans. They are very, very comfortable and they are just perfect for walking the wire,” Nik told Scott and Todd from WPLI Radio.
Nik completed his historic, record breaking walk without a safety net or harness, 1,500 feet above the Little Colorado River Gorge, becoming the first person to walk a tightrope over the “Grand Canyon.” 34-year-old Wallenda is a seventh-generation high-wire artist.
Nik wore Buffalo David Bitton’s Six jean, which will be renamed by the brand as the “Nik”. It retails at Buffalojeans.com for $99.
