Yesterday, April 3, 2014, Vera Wang opened her latest outpost – a boutique on Rodeo Drive.
“I am truly thrilled to have created a new place for our LA fashionistas and fans,” says Vera Wang.
Located at 428 North Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, California, the store occupies 5,500 square feet and has two floors. With outposts including New York City, Chicago, Shanghai, Moscow and Sydney, Vera Wang’s latest venture houses her bridal and ready-to-wear collections. The RTW collection is featured on the main floor while the bridal collection is displayed on the second floor.
The boutique experience is all about understated elegance, sophistication and modernity. Sawyer Berson designed the space creating a contemporary look with blackened steel fixtures, graphite finishes, matte concrete floors and floating displays.
A monumental white Corian staircase features a floor to ceiling video art installation commissioned for the store by the artist Marco Bramillia entitled “Replay”.
