Book Review: Alpha Wolf Need Not Apply by Terry Spear

Alpha Wolf Need Not ApplyIn “Alpha Wolf Need Not Apply,” Terry Spear brings the readers back to Silver Town, a small town at the fringes of San Isabel National Forest in Colorado. Home of the Silver werewolves pack, the story follows wolf shifter and Park Ranger Eric Silver who is about to meet his mate in the most unexpected situation.

While patrolling in wolf form as he followed a lead to the illegal marijuana plantation in the mountains, Eric runs into a young female werewolf who was hurt. Shifting into human form so that he can carry the wolf to safety and to get help, Eric meets Pepper Grayling, alpha female and leader of the Grayling pack.

Though of them were not looking for a mate, they found themselves very attracted to each other. But, before they can even confirm their interest, work comes first. Eric has to find out who are the marijuana growers while Pepper needs to make sure that her pack is safe from interlopers.

A fast-paced paranormal romance, you will find Eric and Pepper endearing, even funny at times as they try to carve out time for their budding romance with their very busy schedule. If not for the rural setting, it is easy to imagine those two are as two yuppies.

An enjoyable read from page one to the last! “Alpha Wolf Need Not Apply (Silver Town Wolf)” is Rated M for Mature due to sexual content and violence.
