Host Hugh Jackman performed an intermission number and so did Gladys Knight, Fantasia Barrino and Patti Labelle plus recording artist Jennifer Hudson.
Actress Jessie Mueller and singer Carole King sang a duet while Sting performed with his band.
Neil Patrick Harris and the cast of “Hedwig and the Angry Inch” performed a scene from the play.
Lisa O’Hare, Bryce Pinkham and Lauren Worsham did a scene from ‘A Gentleman’s Guide To Love and Murder’ and so did actor Jefferson Mays who did another scene.
Alan Cumming and the cast of “Cabaret” also took center stage with their performance.
